Я стремился делать обоснованные выводы о реальных плодах научных исследований и четко разграничивать предположения и научно обоснованные выводы. Ради ясности я не вдавался в подробности и вместо этого рассмотрел некоторые нюансы, оговорки и альтернативные интерпретации имеющихся доказательств в аннотациях ниже. Это не исчерпывающий список ссылок. Следует понимать, что объем имеющейся литературы по нейронауке памяти весьма велик. В апреле 2023 года поиск в PubMed по запросу «память» выдал 383 040 результатов, и это, безусловно, также неполный список. Даже в пределах контекста тем книги я не мог осветить или процитировать каждую соответствующую статью.
